Hi, I’m Mikayla Parker, the owner and photographer behind Sunkissed Sports Photography! My love for sports started long before I ever picked up a camera. As a former indoor volleyball player turned beach and grass volleyball athlete, I know firsthand the passion, dedication, and emotion that go into every game. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and now I get to capture that same passion from behind the lens. I first discovered my love for photography in college, photographing my school’s sports teams. There was something so special about being able to freeze incredible athletic moments in time and tell a story through the emotions behind every play, celebration, and hard-fought point. I quickly fell in love with the ability to preserve those memories long after the final whistle.After graduation, I turned my focus to coaching, and photography took a backseat for a while. Then, in 2025, I picked up my camera again for the first time in years, and I haven’t been able to put it down since! Today, photographing my fellow athletes brings me just as much joy as playing the game myself. Through Sunkissed Sports Photography, my goal is to capture more than just a great shot. I want to tell your story, celebrate your hard work, showcase your personality, and preserve the moments that make you love this sport. Whether it’s the intensity of competition, the excitement of a big win, or the little moments in between, I’m here to capture it all.
